The DLP Government claims that it is only now possible to make moves to bring investors and visitors into the Ross University complex, contrary to what it may have intimated earlier. The Prime Minister's statement appeared to have hinted that Ross University was using tricks to prevent Dominica from bringing in competition to the Caribbean. Last year however the prime minister had assured the nation that he had four interested investors for the University complex, and that they would soon be visiting. Now in 2019 the prime minister says government is only now able to bring investors to visit the campus and inspect and make up their minds weather or not they want to invest in Dominica. Mr Skerrit feels that by right, the Government should pursue Ross for compensation, because of their manner of handling the agreement between them and the DLP government.
