Dominica Electoral Commission Member Wayne James is disappointed in Police Commissioner Daniel Carbon for apparently failing to resolve the problems being faced by Dominica’s Police Officers
Former officer in the Dominica Police Force and current member on Dominica’s Electoral Commission, Wayne James, says he is disappointed in Dominica’s Police Commissioner, Daniel Carbon, for apparently failing to run the affairs of the Dominica Police Force in an efficient manner.
On 8th June 2019, a major meeting was held by the Police Welfare Association (PWA), attended by a large gathering of skilled and frustrated Police Officers, who informed the PWA executive of their concerns and the need for protest action, in an effort to force the hand of government officials in resolving their issues.
James told Q95 FM radio on Tuesday, this is a sad day for Dominica, as the government appears to have no respect for Police Officers and are not bothered about their welfare.
