FICCA previous Christmas Gift Program in Dominica
Dominica will once again benefit from the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Christmas Gift Program for the Caribbean’s underprivileged children. The Christmas Gift Program was designed to reach out to FCCA‘s partners in the Caribbean, by providing holiday gifts to underprivileged children in foster homes, or institutions where holiday gifts would not ordinarily be possible. This year, gifts will be brought aboard the MV Celebrity Summit on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Crew Members of the MV Celebrity Summit along with the officials from the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) and the West Dominica Children Federation will present the gifts to 200 children at a ceremony on the said day. Annually, DDA coordinates with FCCA to make this noteworthy event a grand success. In the upcoming years DDA, in coordination with the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association will continue to maintain this as an annual Christmas tradition. Discover Dominica Authority and the Ministry of Tourism thank the FCCA for their continued efforts in bringing holiday cheer to underprivileged children throughout the Caribbean. Additionally, we pledge continued support to this program, and others in the future.
