Geothermal Project Manager Mark Tomkins says the World Bank will provide funds to build a Geothermal plant in the first quarter of 2019
Manager of Dominica‘s Geothermal Project, Mark Tomkins, says the funds for construction of the country’s multi-million dollar Geothermal plant, will be provided by the World Bank in the first quarter of 2019.
Tomkins spoke at a Consultation on Dominica’s Geothermal risk mitigation project on 6th February 2019.
Meantime, Tomkins has announced that thirteen properties will be purchased by the government of Dominica, to begin construction of the Geothermal Plant.
The government began exploring options for Geothermal energy in 2011. Tomkins spoke to media at a consultation on Dominica’s Geothermal risk mitigation project, on Wednesday.
