Legal representative for the Police Welfare Association, Mr. John Charles, has commented on the issues of management which currently exists within the hierarchy of the Dominica Police Force. Charles told the media recently that effective recommendations have been given to the management executive of the Dominica Police Force, by the Police welfare Association (PWA). However, to date, these recommendations have not been applied. Legal representative for the Police Welfare Association, Mr. John Charles Meantime, Charles says the tension between the Police Welfare Association and Dominica’s Chief of Police, Daniel Carbon is real. Charles told media recently, that although tensions between the two entities exist, there is hope that the effectiveness of the management team will be enhanced, once the Police Chief takes on board the recommendations of the PWA, to help improve the effectiveness of the operations of the Police Force.
