Local branding company Vicetel has launched its latest mobile application ‘Oruh’, said to be a convenient and hassle free way to hail a ride. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Vicetel Head of Marketing and Operations Ms Sadé Samuel explained, the app allows customers to request a pick-up/drop-off through a cell phone application, schedule a ride/hire, as well as book a rental. According to Samuel, passengers and drivers are given the option to rate each experience to ensure passenger safety. The App is available for download from the Google Play Store for Android Users and is also available on the Apple App Store. Meanwhile, Officer in the Ministry of Tourism & Urban Renewal Daryl Titre says the new ORUH App compliments the Government's drive towards the development of the Tourism Industry. ORUH also goes the extra mile in providing additional services, such as scheduling trips to destinations in advance with groups of individuals.
