Roseau South MP Joshua Francis has assisted police in bringing in the two suspects who wanted in connection with a shooting which resulted in the death of 27-year-old Telford Kerry Earson George, of Stock Farm, who was shot twice by a pillion rider on a motor scooter, that was traveling south on the Newtown public road. Public Relations Officer of the Dominica Police Force Simon Edwards said the shooting incident occurred outside the Reuben’s bakery in New Town, on 4th July 2018, at 10;15 am. Francis told Q95 on 10th July 2018, that he was pleased with how well the police cooperated with him to bring in the two suspects, and also stated that the young men agreed to turn themselves in, in the best interest of the families and the community. However, as the MP for the constituency, Francis said he would not provide legal representation for the two suspects. Roseau South MP, Joshua Francis
