UWP Public Relations Officer Steve Benjamin believes there is too much discrimination and partisanship in disbursing housing assistance
Steve Benjamin, Public Relations Officer of the UWP spoke with Q95 yesterday morning, where he addressed issues of housing in Dominica as well as the dilemma of Dominican farmers.
Benjamin believes there is too much discrimination and partisanship in the disbursement of housing assistance, and in the absence of productivity on the Island, the DLP should be divorced from the governance of the country.
He is also of the view that very little is being done to help people in the Marigot and Wesley areas, who lost their houses during the passage of Hurricane Maria in 2017.
In reference to the decline in the productivity of the agricultural sector,
Benjamin wants the government to put a stimulus pack in place to energize the farmers.
