​His excellency Ulises Arrans Fernandez is the NEW Cuban ambassador to Dominica, and was welcomed today by Dominica’s President his excellency hon.Charles Saverin.
In a press briefing today the new ambassador His excellency Ulises Arrans Fernandez, says that his Government is looking to continue working with Dominica and sees a positive future between the two Nations.
He says that the diplomatic relations between Dominica and Cuba has always been positive since 1996 and it proves that two countries despite size, can continue to create social and economic growth.
Cuba and Dominica have been able to establish over 300 plus students receiving scholarships to further their education within the country of Cuba, and is on a steady pace forward in continuing to strengthen their relationship.
