After 15 years as the leader in the Government of Dominica, and after making several promises to build an International Airport, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is only now hinting at design proposals for an airport. This is according to leader of the United Workers Party Team Dominica, and Opposition leader in Parliament, Lennox Linton, who was speaking on some of many empty promises made the Prime Minister over the past 15 years. The Team Dominica Leader says it has been 21 years since the United Workers Party Government completed plans with detailed engineering studies and environmental impact assessment studies, detailed feasibility studies, and also acquiring lands and secured monies to begin works on the airport, and now Prime Minister Skerrit is telling Dominicans that he cannot make his mind on who is going to draw the plans for an airport under the DLP Administration.
