Executive member of the Dominica Association of Evangelical Churches (DAEC), pastor Lennox Timothy, is cautioning Dominica’s government to implement proper electoral reform before the next general election. Speaking to a large gathering of Dominica’s stakeholders, at a National consultation on Electoral Reform on Tuesday, Timothy listed five core principles which the church would like Dominica’s government to implement regarding the governance of the country, and Electoral Reform. He added that the DAEC will support all legal actions taken by the government or any other body, toward the proper implementation of electoral reform in Dominica Meantime, Timothy, is urging all Stakeholders in Dominica to refrain from violating the laws of the land, as this would eventually lead to chaotic actions and civil unrest. Timothy also appealed to many Dominican social media fanatics to be responsible in their political discussions online.
