DBF President Severin Mckenzie demands enabling environment for a functioning Public/Private Sector8/29/2018 DBF President Severin Mckenzie is calling on relevant authorities here to create the enabling environment for a functioning Public/Private Sector mechanism to deliberate on and address policy and administrative challenges impacting the creation and functioning of an environment which is friendly to business and investments. Speaking to Q95 news on Wednesday, McKenzie says the departure of Ross University impacts negatively on the ability of the Commonwealth of Dominica to attract Direct Foreign Investments, adding that the future development of Dominica will depend on its human and natural resources. According to the DBF President, unity is needed to address the issues of the economy and to bring an end to looting criminality which has increased Post hurricane Maria. As a result the DBF is calling for policy makers, leaders of political parties, leaders of business support organizations and leaders of civil society organizations to begin the dialogue, which encourages strategic approaches to solving many of the economic issues currently in Dominica.
