Dominica Celebrated ‘World Rivers Day’ on 27th September 2020, the last Sunday in September, the main group spearheading the safety of Dominica’s Rivers ‘Year-round,’ is the World Rivers Day Committee, headed by Catholic Priest and Environment advocate, Franklin Cuffy. President of the Dominica Community Tourism Association Incorporated (DCTAI), Mrs Josephine Dublin Prince, told Q95 news on Tuesday that this observance of the country’s waterways, is fitting for the Tourism Ministry’s eco-based Tourism Brand. Mrs Dublin-Prince reminds Dominicans, it is their responsibility to preserve all of Dominica’s waterways, citizens and Government authorities alike. She calls for a greater appreciation and greater effort to protect the countries waterways from neglect and exploitation. The Theme for this year’s World Rivers Day Celebration in Dominica is: “Your Watershed, Your responsibility, Your Future!” President of the Dominica Community Tourism Association Incorporated (DCTAI), Mrs. Josephine Dublin-Prince.
