A seven-member delegation from Dominica, including five athletes and two officials, is currently representing the nation at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago. The 19th edition of the Pan American Games, running from October 18 to November 5, 2023, features top continental events for NOCs from North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean. The championship serves as an opportunity to secure 100 direct quota spots for the Paris 2024 Olympics in various sports. In terms of medal history, the United States leads with 20 gold, 11 silver, and 15 bronze medals, totaling 46 points. Mexico is in the second position with ten gold medals, while Canada holds the third spot with nine gold medals. The Pan American Games offer a platform for athletes to showcase their talents and strive for excellence in their respective disciplines. Dominica's athletes aim to make their mark on this international stage.
