The Dominica State College (DSC) claims it has partnered with Ferrol’s Architectural Designs to bring to fruition a unique concept design combining the enthusiasm, imagination, skill and expertise of selected students of the students of D.S.C. to construct the New National Library.
Government is said to have agreed that the design, once completed, may be used to rebuild the Dominica National Library on Victoria St, Roseau which was damaged in 2017 by Hurricane Maria. The timeframe for this project is from March 28,2022 to May 4, 2022, and will be completed by both past and present architecture and civil engineering students of the DSC including Patricia Pierre-Louis, Johanan Lewis, Tarsha Tyson, Sardius Olive, Rhaiyel John Lewis, Leighton Loramol, Kuryon Laville, Kazim Blaize, and the initiator of this project, founder/owner of Ferrol’s Architectural Designs, Jedidiah Ferrol. Daryl Hurtault, architect and lecturer at DSC will also be participating and supervising the collective effort of the many innovative minds working on this project.
