In the Zone A National Domino match last weekend, defending champions WakeUp Stars destroyed their opponent ‘Focus’ by a final score of 3004 points to 2634 points. WakeUp Stars from Portsmouth have cupped another victory in the 2021 Rayneau Construction and Kubuli Beer National Domino League.
Rockers from Paix Bouche join the WakeUp stars in the winner’s circle, as they defeated the Voxes by a final score of 3006 points to 1590 points. Zone A also saw ‘Roadblock’ fail in preventing ‘More Fire’ from winning the match up – with More Fire scoring 3001 points and RoadBlock 2586. Also, ‘One Case’ beat Hub Itassi, sealing the match with a final score of 3010 points to 2056 points. Meantime In Zone B, Baghdad failed to secure a victory from their two matches played but Tremors enjoyed mixed results. In their first game of the weekend, The Tremors defeated Baghdad by a final score of 3012 points to 2362 points. In the following match Tremors went down to Public Enemies by a final score of 3021 points to 2649 points. Baghdad also went down to Vallians by a final score of 3007 points to 2019 points. More results indicate that Case O Gorie defeated Team Rayneau by 3021 points to 2587 points and the ‘Sting’ team stung Warner by 48 points with a final score of 3000 points to 2952 points. In one of the biggest upsets of the weekend, The Home Boys slapped last year’s beaten finalist Golden Arms by 16 points. Home Boys won the match by 3006 points to 2790 points. And Lastly, The Home Boys topped it all in Zone C and secured a place for themselves in the second round. Tarreau defeated Fire Services by 3001 points to 2712 points in another match.
