New Attorney Janae Jackson plans to focus on intellectual property law, and Devi Celian Saffiyah St Luce will be tackling the burning issue of child and domestic abuse, as the legal profession in Dominica got enriched by the respective fields of endeavor of these two dynamic new lawyers, during a special sitting on January 29, 2024, in the presence of colleagues, family members, mentors, and friends, Jackson of Canefield East and St Luce of Grand Bay, who were officially admitted to practice as barristers and solicitors of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the Commonwealth of Dominica by High Court Judge, Justice Jacqueline Josiah-Graham.

Attorney-at-Law Kayan Toussaint characterized St Luce as an ambitious and diligent young lady who possesses the traits of a patient, humble, and creative attorney with a robust sense of integrity. Jackson and St Luce both spoke to the media succeeding their admission to the bar and expressed a deep sense of accomplishment. Justice Josiah-Graham welcomed the new members to the legal profession, underscored their commitment to uphold the law and deliver justice impartially, and stressed the importance of ethical conduct and dedication in practicing law. Justice Graham urged both attorneys to exemplify professional standards and integrity, while acknowledging their achievements & the support of their communities and colleagues.
