A Walk for Democracy, A Walk for Change, and A Walk on the Right Side of History. These are some of the reasons why some persons say they are lacing up their boots, putting on a white garmentof fearlessness and taking to the streets to walk; a call that has been championed by Social Activist and former Agriculture Minister Atherton Martin and echoed by all those seeking change for a better Dominica Speaking with Q95 this morning, Martin highlighted that just as Sedrack Meshack and Abendigo walked into the flames fearlessly, as well as Danielle in the lion’s den, so too must people walk the streets, despite calls from the powers that be and their law enforcement to seek permission from the Police Commissioner, in order to walk. Walk Organizers say today Wednesday morning and possibly every Wednesday at 10 am, will be designated as a time to walk on the right side of history. He encouraged persons to join the walk. Leader of the Opposition, Lennox Linton.
