The 767 Sports Club solidified its victory at the three-day St. Lucia Basketball Pre-Season Invitational Tournament. The event began on 22ndMarch and ended 24thMarch 24. Fans and the media saw a burst of competition among some of the top basketball clubs in the region. Speaking to Q95 news on March 28, 2024, Head Coach of 767 Sports Club, Mr Dunstan Maggie Peters, said he was thrilled when his team was announced the winner of the tournament. Peters added that the victory was not without its challenges, such as; no sponsorship from commercial entities, and accommodation concerns. However, Peters revealed that these challenges made the team members work twice as hard and they secured the win. He hopes that Dominican businesses will now provide financial aid to the 767 Sports Club, as the club has proven it can generate outstanding athletes which deliver results for Dominica at official games.
