The call for the discrimination of Haitian Nationals to end, was championed by the former superintendent and UWP secretary Nicholas George, earlier on Thursday. Mr. George made these statements on Q FM program ‘the Hot Seat’ via telephone, where he expressed the relationship that Haitian nationals have with the Dominican people and says that the united workers party when in office introduced the Haitian populace to Dominica’s economy via farm labor and that they have made contributions to our economy for some time. Mr. George says that citizens of every country in the world visit Dominica, some require visas, some don’t and that No visitor visiting Dominica from any part of the world is required to make any deposit except Haitians. He says that CARICOM has implemented laws that allow the free movement of CARICOM member countries, inclusive of Haiti. former superintendent and UWP secretary Nicholas George.
