In his presentation as a guest on Q95’s Global view on Q Program hosted by Sheridan Gregoire (Mr. G) recently, Auto Mechanic, Emerson Marcus Rossi took issue with a recent announcement by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, who had stated that his government was now preparing to have Geotechnical studies and Environmental Impact done for the DLP Government’s proposed international Airport in the Wesley area, after having acquired large amounts of property owned by the residents in the that community. However, many professionals publicly voiced their concerns, warning the Prime Minister to approach the Airport project in a more professional, inclusive and orderly fashion, as all necessary studies should have been done before displacing the residents of the Wesley area. The question being asked is, what if the studies determine that the lands that have been acquired are not suitable for the proposed airport? Will the land be returned to the residents oi accordance with existing law? Auto Mechanic, Emerson Marcus Rossi
