Wesley MP Ezekiel Bazil is urging the DLP led government to provide a clear indication to the parliamentary opposition and the general public, of the use and distribution of funds to councils, for the government’s Housing recovery strategy project. Bazil also referenced the work done in his constituency, under his leadership, where the various village councils formulated two needs assessment lists post Tropical Storm Erika in 2015 and post Hurricane Maria in 2017. According to the Wesley MP, in both scenarios, government did not provide adequate assistance. Bazil wants the parliamentary opposition to be included in the recovery process of Dominica’s economy and infrastructure. He spoke at the Fourth Meeting of the Third Session of the Ninth Parliament, under the Commonwealth of Dominica Constitution, on Monday June 25, 2018. Bazil says MP’s in Dominica must begin doing their work as parliamentary representatives. and refrain from engaging in partisan behavior. Wesley MP Ezekiel Bazil
