13 Dominicans leave for China soon to pursue studies compliments of the government of China
13 Dominican students will leave for China shortly to pursue higher education compliments the Chinese Government.
The students were presented with admission notices by Education Minister Petter St Jean, Foreign Affairs Caricom Minister Francine Baron, Senator Jahisiah Benoit, and Ambassador Li Jiang-Ning, at the Fort Young Hotel on Wednesday.
The Chinese Ambassador had this message of advice to the new students.
Education Minister Petter St Jean says this support is as a result of sustained partnership between the government of Dominica and China.
The fields of studiy include Applied Psychology, Biotechnology, Financial Management, Civil Engineering, Electronic Information, Public Service Administration, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Public Health and International Administration.
