3 Soufriere siblings will be tried again from Monday February 22, 2016, for the murder of their brother

Three (3) Soufriere siblings will be tried again from Monday February 22, 2016, for the murder of their brother. The three who were found guilty of murdering their brother Harrison Williams in September 2010, will be tried for a second time from Monday 22nd February 2016. This retrial is due to the fact that the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court of Appeal had squashed their murder conviction on 12th November 2014 and had ordered a retrial.
 
Herbert Xavier, Loretta Xavier and Manuela Williams were sentenced to serve 15 years in prison, minus 17 months already spent on remand, in March 2012. They were arraigned on Wednesday 17th February 2016, and all pleaded not guilty to the charge of manslaughter which was preferred against them. They are represented by attorneys Dawn Yearwood Stewart and Wayne Nordé.
