35 Spanish speaking teachers are currently being taught the English language at the Dominica State College in hopes of passing on their acquired knowledge to their students back home. The 7 month training for the group of Ecuadorian teachers started in November last year. The students met with Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit last Thursday. Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit Meantime, Dean of Faculty of Education at the DSC Beverly LeBlanc says the program has also allowed for the teachers to be taught in Barbados and St Vincent.
