52-year-old Bernadine Jean-Jacques of Newtown reported missing, and Police ask the public to help6/10/2016 52-year-old Bernadine Jean-Jacques of Newtown is reported missing, and the Police asking the public to come forward with any information that might assist their investigations. This is the third person to be reported missing in Dominica in recent weeks.
Police PRO, Acting Inspector Pellam Jno Baptiste, described Jean Jacques as being of Kalinago descent, standing at about 5’5”, fair in complexion, with curly brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a red, tropical styled dress. She was last seen on June 7, 2016, and is suspected to be mentally challenged, Jno Baptiste said. Recently there were reports of two other missing persons. Sherian Joseph, living in Castle Bruce but originally from Petite Soufriere, was last seen at about 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2016, on the Castle Bruce Highway, and has not been seen since. Also, 77-year-old Marcellin Williams, of Soufriere has been reported missing. He left his residence at about 8:30pm, on Friday, June 3rd 2016, and his whereabouts remain a mystery.
