A Marriott Hotel could soon be on the cards for Dominica

A Marriott Hotel could soon be on the cards for Dominica.
That’s according to the country’s PM Roosevelt Skerrit.
The PM says although negotiations are still underway, he is hopeful they will be successful.
 
Marriott International Incorporated is an American diversified hospitality company that manages and franchises a broad portfolio of hotels and related lodging facilities.
 
Marriott International headquartered in Bethesda Maryland in the Washington DC Metropolitan area has more than 4,087 properties in over 80 countries and territories around the world, and over 697,000 rooms as of July 2014 and an additional 195,000 in the development pipeline.
Skerrit made these remarks during a church service forming part of the Catholic Feast of St Anthony in the village of Toucarie on Sunday.

Meantime, PM Skerrit says the building up of the country should not only be left to him and his DLP administration.
He says in order to create a more prosperous Dominica, that responsibility lays on all the country’s citizens.
He says only by working together will this goal be achieved.
