The key towards the proper celebration of a village feast is finding the right balance between church and party. That's what Dominica's Acting Prime Minister Dr Colin McIntyre says is required, during the customary celebration of village feasts across the island. Dr Colin McIntyre says while village feasts are looked upon as a means of celebration, the church needs to be incorporated in every aspect of the celebration, and not just the traditional service. Dr McIntyre made these remarks while addressing the church service of the feast of Penville on Sunday. Meantime, Dr McIntyre urged villagers of Penville, especially the farmers, to take advantage of a special loan facility at the AID Bank. Through a special loan facility for agriculture, the government has made 10 million dollars available at the AID Bank for on-lending to farmers, primarily to address farmers' need for working capital, and to allow them access to capital for investment in facilities.
