Agriculture Ministry PS Harold Guiste concedes food production costs may increase so as to meet GAP standards
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture Harold Guiste, says production costs may increase for some local farmers, in order to meet GAP standards. However, Dominica is concerned about food safety, and will continue its endeavours to maintain safety and quality standards.
He says the ministry while continuing efforts to meet global GAP Standards, will ensure that local consumers are protected from food borne risks.
