Arawak House of Culture comes alive tomorrow Saturday November 26 with ‘Public Service Talent Night’11/25/2016 Public Service Day activities have been the highlight of the year for public officers, as these activities provided some excitement during the year. The Arawak House of Culture will come alive tomorrow Saturday 26th November, with the staging of a Public Service Talent Night.
According to a release, this hallmark event which always forms part of the calendar of events to observe Public Service Day, is organized to showcase the talent of public Officers in areas such as dance, skit, choreography, song – gospel, reggae and calypso. The event promises to be a night of fun, laughter and entertainment as Public Officers from across the Public Service converge in a social setting meant to improve camaraderie, deepen their acceptance and appreciation of each other, as well as to motivate and encourage the employees to continue to strive for professionalism and excellence. Public Service Day will be celebrated on December 2, 2016 with an awards and recognition ceremony. The theme for this years’ observance is, “Embracing the Challenge: Rethink, Rebuild, Transform”.
