The Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the Pesticide control Board is currently in process of collecting inactive Pesticide, and other chemical products used by farmers. Pesticide management in Dominica is handled by the Pesticide Control Board. The Pesticides Control Board (PCB), established under the Pesticides Control Act (PDF 1.1 MB) (No.15, 1974.) (PCA) registers and licensees all pesticides used in Dominica. The Membership of the Board is fixed by the Act as follows: Chief Agricultural Officer; Chief Medical Officer; The Government Analyst. Dominica’s Buggery laws are being challenged, leaving many questioning the direction in which our society is headed, and whether or not it is a change for better or worse. The Minister of Governance, Gretta Roberts, told the graduates of the Adult Education Division that they were all present at the ceremony to celebrate the decision that each of them made to invest in themselves and to get past the challenges that kept them from completing their education in the traditional sense. Enrollment in the youth development division's initiatives, she continued, underlines their significance and relevance in the current socio-economic climate. As the World Creole Music Festival approaches, the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) says it is continuing to work at ensuring that visitors enjoy this season while also contributing significantly to the local economy. The Dominica Senior Men's Cricket team's coach, Fernix Thomas, voiced his confidence and optimism in the players as they prepared to compete in the Windwards Tournament in Grenada. The 2022 Windwards Super50 Tournament will take place in Grenada from September 29 to October 3, 2022. Thomas confirms that their preparations have been adequate, despite the fact that adverse weather prevented them from proceeding as planned.
