He highlights a recent incident involving a pollster, who allegedly may have been involved in importing voters for elections in Dominica, but interestingly, that pollster publicly advised against Barbados following a similar path. Dr. André criticized a Barbadian politician’s indifference to electoral irregularities, and lack of interest in true electoral reform for Dominica. He accuses him/her of associating a Caribbean body that allowed the importation of a security force into Dominica, resulting in the tear gassing of a village on the eve of a general election, while the people slept in their beds in the dead of night.
