Attorney Cara Shillingford-Marsh who successfully represented the public officers in the COVID-19 lawsuit involving their employer, the government of St. Vincent & the Grenadines was praised by DPSU President Steve Joseph. He said that we might need to apply some of what has happened in that situation and her way of thinking here in Dominica.
He made reference to a caller's concern that, if people filed claims in Dominica, they wouldn't get justice due to the island nation's subpar court system. Joseph accentuates how dismal this insight is regarding injustices in Dominica.
