Attorney Gabriel Christian airs his suspicion that Dominica's current administration wants to remain in power indefinitely. He examines how the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) expressed that the litigation of the most recent electorally challenged allegation should have proceeded when it was presented. Christian continued by claiming that the director of public prosecution cannot be relied upon to uphold the law, and questions whether the government left the privy council so as to destroy democracy, with people who would not follow lawfully issued judgments or recommendations. Christian added that the legislation established by Caricom, the Commonwealth and the Organization of American States requires voters to be citizens and residents of their constituencies, not just day-trippers, when casting their ballots. According to him, this is in contrast to the government using millions to import hundreds of individuals and give gratuities, which is against the law, in order to rig the election.
