Canadian based Consultant touts Dominica National Land Use Policy & Physical Plan as a regional leader
Associate and Planner at Dillon Consulting based in Canada Rory Baksh says the Final Draft of Dominica’s National Land Use Policy and Physical Development Plan is ready, and will be officially presented at the UWI open Campus, today Tuesday 8th November 2016.
Baksh says when implemented, Dominica’s National Land Use Policy and Physical Development Plan will establish Dominica as a regional leader, the plan reflects all of the major concerns of stakeholders and the Dominican people, and if implemented by the authorities, will ensure that Dominica’s economy and way of life drastically improves.
This process has been ongoing since 2014. Baksh says this piece of document contains inputs from all walks of life.

The National Land Use Policy is meant to provide direction for issues related to land use planning in Dominica while taking into consideration human health and safety and conserving the natural environment in the interest of all Dominicans.
