Caricom Chairman and Dominica's PM, Roosevelt Skerrit, says there are still a few elements that have to be implemented to ensure complete success of the Caricom Single Market and Economy (CSME). The CSME is an integrated development strategy envisioned at the 10th meeting of the conference of Heads of government of the Caribbean community (Caricom) which took place in July 1990 in Grande Danse Grenada. The Grand Danse declaration has 3 key features: *Deepening economic integration by advancing beyond the common market towards a single market and economy. *Widening the membership and thereby expanding the economic mass of the Caribbean community and progressive insertion of the region into the global trading and *economic system by strengthening trading links with non-traditional partners. Skerrit says there continues to be issues with regards to the free movement of people, particularly the ordinary citizens within Caricom States. The Caricom Chair says he has always criticized Caricom members for their approaches on this. Caricom Chairman & Dominica's PM Roosevelt Skerrit
