A couple, who were arrested during a funeral at the Roseau Roman Catholic Cemetery on June 21, has been found guilty of battery.
Lennox Robin and his wife Frances William-Robin appeared before Magistrate Asquith Riviere on Friday and were found guilty of battery on Haitian-born Carlene Jean Marie on June 18, 2016, at Kings Lane in Goodwill.
The couple, who live in the U.S, were here for the funeral and burial of Frances' mother when they were arrested by the police who came armed with a warrant at the cemetery.
This incident drew huge attention from the public as it unfolded.
