Charges against, National Footballer, Tracian Etienne, has been dropped.
Etienne, was jointly charged with Catherine Humphreys for the importation and possession of ammunition when they appeared before a Roseau Magistrate on January 25th 2016. According to reports, Etienne was found with nineteen (19) rounds of twelve (12) gauge ammunition on January 22nd at the Roseau Ferry Terminal without a valid license. The charges were reread to the accused this morning at the Magistrate's Court in Roseau, however, the prosecution entered no evidence against Tracian Etienne but indicated to the court that they would continue to pursue the charge against Humphreys. Attorney representing Etienne, Tiyani Behanzin, says they are relieved that the charges against Etienne were dropped. However, he said the ordeal was very difficult on the 19 year old.
