Chief Youth Development Officer says Business Grant offer on Social Media using his name is a scam

A scam involving Chief Youth Development Officer, John Roach, has surfaced on social media, Facebook, offering a business grant, however in order to receive the grant one must contribute via MoneyGram to an address in Colorado.

Roach, in an interview with Q95 news, says the Facebook account is not his personal account, however the impostor uses his name and image to run this scam.

Roach lamented that many have already fallen victim to this scam giving over US $1000, and expecting the grant to come through. He is advising applicants to verify accounts before contributing to such activities.
