Child Rights Advocate says Dominica should set structures in place to address child abuse issues
Social Worker/Child Right Advocate, Francis Joseph, believes there is a gap between NGO’s and stronger institutions such as the church which should be bridged in order to have an effect on child abuse in Dominica.
Joseph says NGO’s and advocates can only do so much to keep momentum in the protection of minors.
He says Dominica as well as other OECS countries should set structures in place to address the issue of child abuse.
