Commissioner of Police Daniel Carbon expresses concerns about statements made on the radio airwaves by members of the public

The Commissioner of Police Daniel Carbon has expressed his concerns about statements made on the radio airwaves by members of the public.
Carbon was speaking on the heels of calls by certain members of the public to block the roads in the Marigot constituency.
The commissioner held a press conference Monday at the Police Headquarters.

Carbon says the Dominica Police Force will not allow the coup of 1979 to occur in 2016.
33 years ago, in the morning of May 29, 1979 over 10,000 demonstrators gathered around the government headquarters in Roseau to protest the passage of 2 controversial bills.
That day was to mark the beginning of the end of the Patrick John administration who just 4 years before swept into power with a massive victory at the polls.
On that day 23 year old Phillip Timothy lost his life and 9 others were admitted to the hospital nursing bullet wounds.
