Constituency Empowerment Ministry says it has approved $299,123.94 EC, for 5 projects in Roseau South

​The Ministry of Constituency Empowerment has approved the sum of two hundred ninety-nine thousand, one hundred & twenty-three dollars and ninety-four cents ($299,123.94 EC) for implementing five (5) projects within the Roseau South Constituency.
 
According to a release, the projects to be executed are, St Elmo’s Secondary Road Repairs, Melville Battery Secondary Road Repairs, Upper Kings Hill Drainage, Rossi Lane Secondary Road Project, and a Kings Hill Beautification Program.
 
It is reported that several local contractors will sign necessary contracts for commencement of the projects on Wednesday 25th January 2017.
 
Chairman of the Giraudel Eggleston Village Council, Members of the Kings Hill Improvement Committee (KHIC), and residents of Wall House are expected to be present and to speak at a function to mark the occasion.  Hon. Justina Charles, Minister for Youth, Sports, Culture and Constituency Empowerment will also deliver some remarks.
