DASPA CEO says new water storage tank at Morne Bruce helps in providing water to Cruise ships
The construction of the 500,000-gallons water storage tank in Morne Bruce, has made it easier to provide potable water to cruise ships that dock on the island. That’s according to Chief Executive Officer of the Dominica Air & Sea Port Authority, Benoit Bardouille. Bardouille made that remark during the inaugural call of the Carnival Dream on Saturday.

Meantime, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Gerard Jean-Jacques, highlighted the significance of the ship’s arrival in Dominica on Saturday, as the country was celebrating the official opening of Carnival.
This was the ship’s only call to Dominica for the cruise season, and the PS hopes the uniqueness of Dominica will be a contributing factor for future visits.
