Director of Public Prosecutions says Dominica Justice System has “some way to go,” as regards the Child Protection Act
In a related story, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Evelina Baptiste admits that the Commonwealth of Dominica’s Justice System still has “some way to go,” as it relates to the country’s Child Protection act.
The DPP says her department continues to work vigorously in ensuring that serious crimes are dealt with. “There is a positive change coming, and in a holistic manner, regarding the modification of legislation, in effectively handling crimes in Dominica, and more specifically child abuse cases.
