At 1:05PM on Tuesday 8th November 2016, Dominica was jolted by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 but there have been no reports of injuries or damages.
The Trinidad-based Seismic Research Centre (SRC) of the University of the West Indies (UWI) said the quake occurred at a depth of 90 kilometres, Latitude: 15.14N and Longitude: 60.95W.
SCR also said the earthquake was located 52 km SE of Roseau, Dominica, 61 km NNE of Fort-de-France, Martinique, and 123 km North of Castries, Saint Lucia.
