Chairman of the Dominica National Petroleum Company, Ambassador Felix Gregoire has hailed as absurd, any allegations that there has not been full accountability for some 250 million dollars, arising out of the PetroCaribe Agreement. Ambassador Gregoire says it is not possible for such a large sum of money to go missing, given the system of operation at the company. Last month Senator Thomson Fontaine raised questions about the lack of accountability by Minister responsible for PetroCaribe Reginald Austrie, as regards some 250 million dollars that may have accrued from supply transactions between government and PetroCaribe. Austrie has on several occasions denied involvement in the financial and trade affairs of PetroCaribe. Ambassador Gregoire has added his voice to the matter. Ambassador Gregoire says the statement was irresponsible and was done to damage Austrie's reputation. Chairman of the Dominica National Petroleum Company Ambassador Felix Gregoire
