Dominica Red Cross receives US $4,000 from ‘La Caribbean Connection’ to assist home refurbishing
The Dominica Red Cross has received US$4,000 which will go towards the refurbishing of homes that were affected by TS Erika.
The donation was made Monday by La Connexion Caribbean consisting of Dominicans residing in New Jersey.
President of the DRC Phillip White said materials will be purchased to get the repairs underway.
Meanwhile, White says he’s pleased to know there are persons living in the Diaspora who are still seeking ways to assist and develop their country.

And leader of the Group Hilroy Gallaway says the organization was formed immediately after TS Erika to assist persons who were affected in Dominica.
