Dominica has reportedly received two DelAgua Testing Kits from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), to monitor the quality of water on the island, following the passage of Tropical Storm Erika in August 2015, which severely affected the water quality and supply in Dominica
“PAHO continues to assist Dominica in the area of public health and today we add to that list two water testing kits for continued monitoring of water quality,” Country Programme Specialist for PAHO, Shirley Augustine said, at a press conference at the Acute Psychiatric Unit (APU) building at the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) on Tuesday. Ms Augustine says the kits contain all the necessary equipment for both chemical and bacteriological analysis of water. One Kit was presented to the Ministry of Health and another to Dominica Water & Sewerage Company (DOWASCO).

Could DAWASCO give us information on the cost of this equipment, and how difficult is it to be obtained. And why this test facility was given to a company whom has been trying to distribute water to homes over a wider area on the island..
