Dominican contractors have again come under fire for extremely high prices when tendering for projects in the country.
According to Colihaut MP, Catherine Daniel, the Dublanc river defence wall project opened for tendering in late August, however, due to high proposals by Dominican contractors the bidding process may have to be re-opened or have the contractors re-examine their bids.
She says the project was initially intended to have commenced in September, but as a result of this setback, the project has been further delayed.
