Dominican Police Officer in St Kitts nursing a stab wound following an altercation on August 158/18/2016 A Dominican born Police Officer in St Kitts is said to be nursing a stab wound, following an altercation on August 15, with a young man who is reported to be a resident of Butlers Village in Nevis.
Reports from the St Kitts & Nevis ‘Observer’ indicated that on Sunday, the man who goes by the name of “Evans” entered a church in Butlers, and began a fight with the pastor. The police apparently responded to a report of that complaint, and went in search of the young man. ‘The Observer’ stated further that the young man was found on Monday afternoon in Butlers. The Observer reported that an altercation ensued between the young man and the officer, who was stabbed and subsequently taken to the Alexandra Hospital, where he is currently receiving attention and care. The young man was taken into police custody.
